We all have those small annoyances that really get under our skin. Here are a few of mine.
1. People that don’t go when the light turns green: Hello!! What are you waiting for? Stop reading a book or putting on your makeup and get going. Green means go. It’s the law, so follow it.
2. Not getting cell service in the middle of a large city: Ok, I understand that there are millions of people in cities like Atlanta, New York, and Chicago, but that’s all the more reason Verizon, AT&T, and the like should concentrate on improving their service to these locations. How is it possible that I drop calls in the middle of Atlanta? I’d get it if I were standing in the middle of a corn field or on the moon, but not when standing among millions of people. Give me the service that I pay for!
3. Having to wait in line while cashiers talk to their friends about nothing at all: Sure, talk to your coworkers or friends about something work related, but don’t get off on a personal tangent while customers are backed up and waiting.
4. Politicians, regardless of their side of the aisle, not being willing to at least consider divergent viewpoints: We all have opinions on matters of government, and should, at a minimum, be able to converse with those not in our color of the political spectrum with and open mind. This is not to say that one must agree with the other side. By all means debate each topic and debate them well, but do it without forcing your believes on others.
